In the heart of the Himalayas, where the air is thin and the trails are steep, a quiet revolution is taking place. It's not led by grand political movements, but by the determined hands of local women who have decided to disrupt the cycle of poverty.

The Cooperative Model

Our recent initiative in the Lamjung district focused on establishing women-led cooperatives. By pooling resources and knowledge, these women are now able to invest in sustainable farming practices, small-scale businesses, and their children's education.

The results have been staggering. Income levels have risen by 40% in participating households, and for the first time in generations, every girl in these cooperative families is enrolled in school full-time.

Looking Forward

This is just the beginning. Our goal is to scale this model to 5 more districts by the end of 2026. The path is challenging, but with the support of our global partners and donors, we are proving that poverty is not inevitable—it's disruptable.
